CISS (Continous Ink
Supply System) for Inkjet Printers

Reported Problems with conventional Ciss Tank
Air Bubbles in the piping system would essentially
choked the printhead and causes the printhead to either
shutter during printing (resulting in bad printouts) or
damages the printhead due to absence of ink.
Depending on the quality of the ink used by the system,
the printhead might be clogged (a common problem with
low quality ink)
Maintainance
Cost
Ink Absorber (Waste Ink Sponge) need to be changed every
½ years due to constant ink draining from the print
head. RM50++
Using CISS also will void the warranty, thus additional
cost may arise
Good For
User which prints in volume in continuous succession,
and doesn't mind the printout quality, and doesn't mind
getting their hands dirty (literally) by normal CISS
maintainance cycles
